Inception Notes

 We chose the movie Inception which came out in 2010 for our final. This movie follows Dominic Cobb who is a skilled dream manipulator and manufacturer.Agent Cobb is recruited by an energy CEO to manufacture a dream in the head of a competitor in order to convince the competitor to break up their business. He does this through inception which is the implanting of an idea deep within the subconscious of a chosen individual.Him and his team begin by identifying the target, Robert Fischer and begin their mission deep within the many layers of Robert’s psyche.They go through three layers through different dreamscapes facing unique challenges along the way. They finally achieve their goal during the third dreamscape where they complete their mission of inception.

5th Element Notes

•  Egyptian temple invaded and fifth element taken
• they promise to return the weapon before a great evil emerges
• evil appears as fireball
• spacecraft carrying the weapon is destroyed
• government uses high tech machine to recreate one of the lives that was on the space craft
• Alarmed Leeloo escapes the government facility by jumping out the building and landing on top of the car of Korben who is a former major in special services
• He delivers Leeloo to the priest and he recognizes her as the 5th element
• she informs him that the stones were not destroyed and that Diva has them
• Dallas is assigned the task of going aboard the flying hotel ship to obtain the stones and him and Leeloo are going together
• Mangalore crew also boards ship looking for the stones
• they attack during concert and kill Diva, and Dallas extracts stones from her skin
• Zorg flees with the case that he thinks is carrying the stones but it is empty
• Leeloo and Dallas escape in Zorg's spaceship and meet David at the temple
• Leeloo gives up on life, shares her love with Dallas, and combines the power of the elemental stones
• she defeats evil with light

Interstellar Notes

•  based in future, dust bowl that is making the planet uninhabitable
• Murph claims she has a ghost when things start to falloff of her bookshelf in her bedroom
• schools discourage students from studying space exploration 
• Cooper claims that the ghost is gravity and uncovers a secret message giving them coordinates to a secret NASA facility
• they go and run into Prof. Brand who explains their secret mission to find a new home on a new planet through a wormhole
• Cooper agrees to be a part of the exploration group leaving his kids behind 
• he goes up into space with other scientists to travel through the wormhole and explore three planets and collect their data
• first planet is aqua planet with huge tidal waves
• time slippage due to their proximity to the black hole
• Murph is now the same age as her father
• The travel to the next planet to find Dr.Mann alive and with an established base
• Murph finds out that Dr. Brand had given up on solving the gravity equation years before bc it required data from inside this blackhole
• The real mission was for Cooper and the other scientists to establish a colony and let the rest of humanity die off but they had no idea
• Mann tricked them into coming to rescue him because he knew the missions true purpose
• he steals a ship but fails to dock properly blowing himself and part of ship up
• Cooper sends the ship toward the final planet and leaves in a pod with the robot to shed weight
• He falls into the black hole and finds himself in a 5th dimension where time can be manipulated 
• Cooper sends Murph messages from this dimension
• he feeds her data about the black hole singularity that she needs to finish the gravity equation and save humanity
• Cooper is saved and brought to this new form of earth where his daughter is now old and celebrated for her scientific discoveries
• he sets off to find Dr.Brands daughter on the final planet

Fashion Designer- Vera Wang

 Vera Wang was born in New York in 1949

She is a fashion designer most known for her wedding dresses however she expanded her designs to include menswear, jewelry, fragrances, eyewear and more

She worked at Vogue as a fashion editor and worked at Ralph Lauren as an accessory designer

She designed her own wedding dress and then decided to open her own couture bridal gown store- she began by selling only the works of other designers but eventually decided to sell her own designs as well. Her designs had so much success that she decided to exclusively sell her own designs.

Second Life Research

 Second life is a game developed by Phillip Rosedale in 1999. This game is a virtual civilization that allows you to create a unique avatar and interact with other users via chat in different virtual worlds.
