-meets Artemis in race and saves her

-they helped her to fix her bike

-his parents died so he lives with his aunt and uncle, lost money on the house in the oasis

-discovered in Hallidays memories that he has to drive backwards as fast as he can so that he can win the race

-wins race and gets his first key

-tells his friends and they also get a key

-they went to Hallidays memories and discovered that the girl he loved was only mentioned once in all his memories and that he removed all the other memories including her

-date w Artemis at the dance club

-tells her his real name and it is overheard

-IOI comes and attacks them but he uses his new cube to get out of the situation

-Arty drops him and says he lives in an illusion and reveals that her dad died

meeting with IOI and wade calls the business owner a piece of shit

-IOI blows up his home with his aunt and uncle inside

-Arty finds him in real world and they figure out that the clue is in the movie the shining that he saw on his date

-all of them get sucked out except for Arty who gets jade key

-parzival gets jade key and reveals he is still alive to IOI

-they hunt down him and Samantha, she sacrifices herself to protect wade

-wade saved by real life version of his friends and Samantha taken to loyalty center

-they help her to get out but she wants to shut down the orb from the inside

-z calls on everyone to join him in taking down IOI

-they battle and both Aeche and Daito die

-Wade figures out how to win the last challenge but he is interrupted by the leader of IOI

-he sets off bomb that kills everyone in oasis but wade has extra life 

-he wins the keys and the egg

-Halliday tests him with a contract but he picks up on it

-gets the key to the oasis and all the power

-IOI leader almost shoots him but sees how strongly he loves the oasis

-IOI leader is arrested

-Ogden Marrow comes to meet them

Wade decides to share the Oasis with the high five

-finds out ogden is the curator

-decides to close oasis two days a week because reality is important

Ghost in the Shell

 -thermoptic camouflage used by the girl falling- she shot man through window in the head

-they are creating outer skin for AI robot

-hacker infiltrating the brains of the AI Robots

-Ghost= the memories and thoughts of the robots

-Puppet Master- hacker jacking the ghosts, Definitely on most wanted list,

-garbage man is using the hacking technique to hack the ghost of his wife because of his family problems

-this is picked up on and all these different groups start hunting down the garbage truck

-the garbage man realized what has happened and needs to warn the man who told him how to do it

-this man was a ghost hacked human, they hunted him down and caught him

-the garbage ban was hacked into thinking that he was having family issues so that he would ghost hack and essentially cover for puppet master

-if man realizes tech is in reach he achieves it

-thoughts memories and experiences are unique to her, she reaches the boundaries of her own confinement

-even though she was clearly not in control of her own body the scan shows some presence of a ghost 

-she is paranoid about her organs and is worried that she might be completely synthetic

-she feels like the only thing that makes her feel human is her interactions of them

-memory defines man kind

ghost reveals his presence in the body and says that he has never had a body

-he is not AI he is a living breathing entity that was created in the sea of information 

-wants to unite with her because he knows she is questioning her humanity

-both bodies explode

-they create the girl a new shell

Star Trek Movie Notes

•  Captain had to shuttle to enemy ship
• tells Kirk he is now captain
• he questions the authority of the romulin which leads hiss death
• father Kirk sends wife on shuttle to give birth to her baby boy, he sacrificed himself
• Jim Kirk is a troubled kid getting himself into trouble (car scene)
• Spock is bullied a majority of his life for his moms humanity
• Kirk meets Uhora in bare & hits on her>>cadets beat him up>>captain recruits him because of his father
• Spock turns down volcran academy because of the way that they refer to his humanities a disadvantage
• 3 years later
• Kirk cheats to win simulation exam made by Spock>>goes on trial
• Volcran produces help signal they are on their first mission except Kirk couldn't go bc of academic probation 
• his friend infects him with a virus so he must tag along for medical reasons
• when Kirk hears about the lightening storm he knows it is a trap (same people who killed his father) and warns ship (he was right)
• captain goes to enemy ship and is unheard from
• Kirk and two other men jump down to kill drill and fix transmissions 
• only 2 survive and are successful 
• the romulins insert red marrow into the Earth core, creating a black hole and causing planet to consume itself
• Spock goes down to save his family and as they are being beamed up his mother falls to her death
• Kirk irritates Spock and is ejected from the ship
• he runs into futuristic Spock who explains everything, directs him on what he needs to do, and jumps him back to ship
• Kirk forces Spock to reveal that he is emotionally compromised and Kirk takes over as Captain
• he instructs everyone to attack Necro
• Kirk and Spock been aboard Necro's ship
• Spock finds red matter, ship computer system recognizes him, he flies out and destroys drill
• Kirk saves the hostage captain
• beamed back to enterprise the perfect time, red matter ship crashes into Necro's ship
• Necro gets sucked into a black hole
• enterprise almost got sucked in but the blasts from their weaponry push them back so they escape pull
• Kirk is honored as new official captain

 Data = equivalence of captain spock

• Placed in future after he retired from being a captain
• He lives in his own castle in France
• the technology is incredible: 3D printing of food, the TV, the makeup
• In his interview, he says that there are certain things that he didn't want to talk about and she pried about it the entire interview
• he is making a very political statement
• laser that just completely healed her wound
• Dahj came to him and said that she knew he could keep her safe
• Their connection is linked to data
• Dreams about painting done by Data, he goes to archives to figure out more about it and discovers that the painting is titled "Daughter"
• Dahj is not excepting of the things Picard is telling her
• "dear to me in ways that you can't understand"
• she can sense the people coming for her
• they are romulan, and one spit on her and it caused an explosion and killed her
• He decided to take action and figure out what killed her and why
• he finds out that she is a twin

Star Trek Episode 1 Notes

 -"The Man Trap

-each member of the group was seeing a different Nancy

-medical examination of the professor, he is resisting but they are persisting because it is of their best interest

- the professor and Nancy kept talking about needing salt tablets

-the death of one of the crew man was caused by a total salt depletion of his body

-when they went down to investigate the death two more crewman were killed, but Nancy took the body of one of them

-this creature terrorized the ship, so Kirk and Spock went back to the planet to find Dr.Crater 

-They find the body of Greene , and figure out that this creature is on the ship

-this creature takes the form of Dr. McCoy and attacks Spock and Dr. Crater

-they find the creature and it tries to kill Captain Kirk

-McCoy can't get himself to kill her until its true form is revealed 

Matrix Debate Coclusion

 We debated in the classroom red pill vs. blue pill. Despite the fact that I was taking the side of the red bill, the side for the blue pill also had some very solid arguments for their own side. Some of the best arguments that they made is that "ignorance is bliss" and some people mentally and emotionally cannot handle all the truths of reality. This is a very solid argument, that some people really don't have the courage to face the truth, however taking the side of the red pill we need some people to face the truth so we can begin to make systematic change and fix the problems within society. Overall, both sides had great points and in the end the decision comes down to free will.
